Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA), as corporate element, was built up under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Act, 2013, with the command to control and gather Sales Tax on Services and Infrastructure Development. KPRA is administered, with relative self-rule, has been put under the Finance Department to have an interface with the Government. While, the Council goes about as Policy Making body led by the Honorable Chief Minister, KPK, and including three (03) Cabinet Ministers for Finance, Law and Excise and Taxation, Chief Secretary, Secretaries of the Finance, Law, Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control offices and four delegates named by the Government from the private area
