Faculty Positions – Department of Architecture University of Gujrat

The University of Gujrat (UOG) is inviting applications from Pakistani nationals (male and female) who are qualified, experienced, and passionate about contributing to higher education in architecture and design. Applications are open for Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Lecturer positions on a contract basis in the Faculty of Architecture, Design & Fine Arts (FADFA), Department of Architecture.

Applicants must meet HEC-prescribed academic qualifications, possess relevant professional registrations (PCATP), and demonstrate strong teaching, research, or practical experience, particularly in the fields of Architecture, Urban Planning, and Design Education.

📋 Vacant Positions & Eligibility:

1️⃣ Professor (BPS-21)

• Posts: 01
• Age Limit: 35–55 years (relaxable)
• Qualification: PhD in Architecture or Urban Planning (HEC recognized)
• Experience: 15 years of teaching/research or 10 years with PhD + 8 years of professional architectural experience
• Other: Must be PCATP registered with international design competition participation preferred

2️⃣ Associate Professor (BPS-20)

• Posts: 01
• Age Limit: 30–50 years (relaxable)
• Qualification: PhD in Architecture, Urban Design, or Planning (HEC recognized)
• Experience: Minimum 10 years teaching/research or 5 years with PhD plus design portfolio
• Other: Must demonstrate academic leadership; international design recognition is an asset

3️⃣ Assistant Professor (BPS-19)

• Posts: 01
• Age Limit: 25–45 years (relaxable)
• Qualification: MS/MPhil in Architecture or Design (HEC recognized)
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in teaching or architectural practice
• Other: PCATP registration required; professional and academic work will be evaluated

4️⃣ Lecturer (BPS-18)

• Posts: 01
• Age Limit: 23–35 years (relaxable)
• Qualification: First class Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Architecture or Urban Design
• Other: Preference for candidates with studio teaching experience or portfolio of built work
