Career Opportunities at Directorate General of Archaeology – Multiple Project-Based Roles (2025)
The Directorate General of Archaeology, Tourism, Archaeology and Museums Department, Government of Punjab, invites applications from suitable and dynamic candidates to assist in the significant ADP project entitled “Capacity Building of Directorate General of Archaeology”. The appointments will be on equal opportunity basis and available to male and female candidates possessing Punjab domicile.
Table of Contents
These are project-based and temporary positions, and the appointments will remain in force until June 30, 2027, or the project’s completion. This scheme will improve heritage management, foster conservation, and allow for digital documentation of archaeological and historical sites in Punjab.

🏛️ About the Project
The “Capacity Building of Directorate General of Archaeology” project shall work towards documentation and promotion of Punjab’s abundant cultural and historic heritage using latest and innovative ways. The appointed candidates will feature prominently in areas like documentation, restoration planning, heritage evaluation, and public education through innovative visualization and photography.
