The Institute of Blood Transfusion Service Punjab is pleased to announce vacancies for Junior Technician (Pathology) positions on a contract basis under the Contract Appointment Policy 2004 and Recruitment Policy 2022. The roles are based in Lahore and field blood units across teaching hospitals in Punjab.

Eligibility Criteria

✅ Qualifications:

• Minimum F.Sc. MLT.
• Preference will be given to candidates with B.Sc. MLT, particularly in Transfusion Medicine and Blood Banking.

✅ Age Limit: 18-25 Years (Age relaxation applicable as per government rules).
✅ Domicile: Candidates must have a valid CNIC and domicile of Punjab.
✅ Quotas:

• 3% for Disabled Candidates (Valid Certificate Required)
• 5% for Minorities
• 15% for Women

Terms & Conditions

1. Recruitment is strictly based on merit and follows government recruitment policies.
2. Appointments are made on contract basis for 3 years, renewable based on performance.
3. The position is post-specific and non-transferable.
4. Candidates already employed in government institutions must apply through the proper channel with a valid NOC.
5. Incomplete applications or those missing required documents will not be entertained.
6. Shortlisted candidates will be notified and must present original documents at the time of the interview.
7. Selected candidates may be required to serve in any attached Blood Unit across Punjab, in any shift.

Procedure to Apply

   • Academic Certificates (Matriculation, F.Sc. MLT/B.Sc. MLT)

   • Experience Certificate (if applicable)
   • 4 Passport Size Photographs
3. Last Date for Submission: December 31, 2024.
4. Visit the NTS website (www.nts.org.pk) regularly for updates regarding the written test schedule.
5. Eligible candidates will receive their Roll Number Slips via the NTS portal.
6. Shortlisted candidates who pass the NTS exam will be called for an interview.
7. Bring original documents at the time of the interview.
