📋 Position Details

✅ Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 🎓 Education: Minimum 16 years of education in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or Business Administration. A PhD or research-focused postgraduate degree in Disaster/Climate Finance is a strong asset.
• 💼 Experience:
  • 8 to 10 years of professional experience in disaster risk finance, climate finance, or financial innovation.
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience specifically in designing and managing financial instruments for disaster/climate risk.
  • Experience in mobilizing funds, working with insurance models, and developing public-private financing solutions.
• 📈 Additional Skills:
  • Strong analytical and policy formulation capabilities
  • Proficiency in stakeholder engagement and partnership building
  • Familiarity with donor-funded project frameworks and disaster recovery protocols
