📋 Position Details

🎯 Responsibilities

✅ Management Trainee Officer – Economics:

• Develop economic models and simulations to support policy and sectoral decisions.
• Estimate and forecast key macroeconomic indicators relevant to the power sector.
• Maintain and update datasets for decision support.
• Conduct economic research and generate actionable insights using survey and real-time data.
• Prepare policy briefs, reports, and academic literature reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain effective working relationships.

🎓 Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Econometrics, Public Policy, or Development Studies from an HEC-recognized university.
• Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.

✅ Management Trainee Officer – GIS:

• Learn and apply GIS tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo, and Global Mapper.
• Support creation and maintenance of spatial datasets, databases, and visualizations.
• Assist in satellite imagery interpretation and remote sensing tasks.
• Contribute to GIS-based web platforms using Leaflet, Mapbox, and ArcGIS Online.
• Collaborate with analysts and engineers to provide technical GIS support.
• Automate workflows using Python, R, or JavaScript.

🎓 Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geoinformatics, Geography, Space Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of mapping, spatial databases, and analytical tools.
• Familiarity with Python, R, or JavaScript for GIS scripting is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
